Newhall United Football Club

The Hawfield Ground.
The ground is known as Hawfields and is off John Street in Newhall and the pitch must have one of the biggest slopes, from goalmouth to goalmouth, in football. However, Newhall have had a series of fund-raising events and the money raised will be used to "flatten" the pitch. All being well we are hoping to start this at the end of the season. A fund raising game against Gresley took place during pre-season to help raise money to flattern the pitch.

History:
Recent History:
In 1998, due to various financial reasons, Newhall United unfortunately dropped out of senior non-league football and into the Burton & District leagues where they played in the Pedigree League.

Newhall won the Pedigree League last season and since have been accepted in the Midland Combination Divsion 3 where we are aiming to climb the non league ladder from ammeteur to semi professional once again.
